Oblate Mission Statement of the Anglo-Irish Province

We are called to be disciples of Jesus,
inspired by the vision of Eugene de Mazenod,
who choose to live and work in communities
sharing life, faith and prayer,
and in solidarity with those who are poor
and most abandoned in our world.

We commit ourselves to building a new society in the light of Gospel values - a way of being where justice, peace, love, forgiveness and hope are commonplace.

As missionaries, we endeavour to communicate and embody the Gospel of Jesus
in an increasingly diverse and secular world.
